## Retrofit Double Glazing Specialists for Wairarapa, Manawatu and WhanganuiHow To Install Double Glazed Windows In Wooden Frames
Cold, draughty rooms and condensation running down the glass every winter morning are a familiar story in older New Zealand homes — but replacing the character joinery that gives a house its charm is rarely the answer. Thermawood Wairarapa offers homeowners a smarter option: double glazing existing windows using a unique, 100% New Zealand-made dry retrofit system. So, can you double glaze existing wooden windows? Absolutely. The system has been designed to suit any timber joinery in a wide range of configurations, meaning original frames stay exactly where they are while the performance of the glass is brought up to modern standards. The result is a warmer, drier, quieter and healthier home — and, as many customers discover, noticeably lower power bills.
